Anna KerthRunning in Traffic is a story based on the emotional facts and the truth of writer Bryan Larkin own reallife experiences.

Dabhand Films debut feature film project Running in Traffic is the company’s first feature film following the success of their most recent, the BAFTA award-winning short film SCENE.

The film features BAFTA Best Scottish Newcomer Bryan Larkin in the lead role as Joe Cullen and Polish television star Anna Kerth in the tragic female lead of Kayla. Legendary actor, Kenneth Cranham (Hot Fuzz, Layer Cake) joins this showcase of Scottish talent which also features Atta Yaqub (Ae Fond Kiss) and Anne Downie (Solid Air, High Road). The supporting cast also includes a host of rising Scottish talent that will be names to watch out for in the future.

Almost half of the 30 strong crew involved in the film are also making their first venture into feature filmmaking, while others are technically skilled graduates of Napier University and the RSAMD film courses. What they lack in industry experience they more than make up for with an unrelenting ambition to collaborate with those self starters out there working on the perimeter of the Scottish film industry...
