18/11/09 - Running in Traffic Wins In Norway Dabhand Films are proud to announce that Running Traffic was not only selected to play at the WT International Festival in Norway, but to top it off the film picked up the Apollo Award for excellence. Bryan Larkin (lead actor and producer), Dale Corlett (Director) & Marc Twynholm (Producer) were present at the festival to pick up the special award. The Jury said: The winner of the WT RETRO APOLLO AWARD for EXELLENCE goes to a film with a visual and emotional impression like a powerful force of nature. The Director manages through image and cast performances to paint a vivid and painfully realistic work of art, with acting that comes across as truthful and heartfelt. One of the cornerstones of the WT-Festivals ideology is to promote and celebrate works of film that display a noticeable passion to create film and tell stories, and in turn inspires others with their own achievement.
