. . . awards including Scottish BAFTA Best Short Film awards for the past three years, Best Short Film Award at the Milan International Film Festival 2006, Scottish BAFTA awards for Best New Work and Best Animation 2005 and the Golden Bear for Best Short Film at Berlinale 2005. Prior to moving into directing and producing Dale worked as a professional actor in NZ with credits including the American television series Xena, Hercules and Swiss Family Robinson, core cast in the on-going NZ police drama series Plain Clothes, various theatre productions and national tours and American and New Zealand feature film productions. Dale is a member of Screen Directors Guild of New Zealand.
