A graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art with a first class degree in Fine Art, and several years community
and professional theatre experience in production and performance at Dundee Repertory Theatre, Abigail has been working
freelance in independent and broadcast film and television production for 7 years. These projects ranged from short films
and promos to TV series and feature films including Ken Loach's Sweet Sixteen, Annie Griffin's The Book Group and multi
award-winning shorts such as Peter Mackie Burns Milk, Angela Murray’s The Choir and many more.
Abigail has worked with many award-winning Scottish film and television drama production companies including Antonine
Films, Saltire Film and TV, Gabriel Films, Autonomi, Brighter Pictures, Mandragora Productions, Pirate Productions and
Wark Clements. During her freelance career, Abigail has also directed and produced numerous corporate and voluntary
sector video projects for a diverse variety of clients.
As a producer, her short drama projects include: Wish (written and directed by Rene Mohandas and funded by Cineworks
and the London Production Fund) which premiered at Edinburgh Film Festival and won the Scottish BAFTA . . .
